Sri Lanka Ranga Kala Kavaya

Culture · Community · Together

The Sri Lankan cultural society of the Washington DC area — bringing our music, dance and drama to the community since the 1980s.

Who we are

Keeping our culture close to home

We are the oldest and largest Sri Lankan cultural organization in the Washington DC area. It began in the early 1980s, when a small group of art-loving Sri Lankans in Virginia came together to stage a play.

Today we bring Sri Lanka's best artists to the DC area, give our own community a stage, and send help home to Sri Lanka.
